Waterjet Profiles Limited is on the move having reached bursting point in Basildon

The Waterjet Group would like to wish all our customers and suppliers a Happy New Year and best wishes for 2009, we would also like to take the opportunity to inform you of some positive news taking place within the group.

Waterjet Profiles Limited is on the move having reached bursting point in Basildon. Over the coming months we will be relocating to a purpose built facility in Darton near Leeds.

At the new site Waterjet Profiles will be able to share some facilities with its sister company Waterjet Technology which is already based at the site, this will lead to not only a streamlined cost base but also give access to a greater range and capacity of waterjet cutting machinery and larger, secure stocking facilities with the following benefits;

• Both companies accredited and approved to : AS9100, ISO9001, Airbus, BAE Systems, Bombardier, Doncaster, EADS, GE (Smiths), GKN, Rolls Royce, Westland Helicopters
• Over £2 million recently invested in profiling and value-add equipment
• Full service provision for all hard metals, titanium, nickel alloys and composite materials
• The Darton site has an option on a further 38,000 sq ft of space
• At Darton we have joint ventures with strategic partners to offer a world class value add solution

Both companies will bring their wealth of experience under one roof which will confirm our position as the largest abrasive waterjet profiling company in Europe; with an ever increasing global presence.

The move will take a while to plan and complete, in the meantime it is business as usual and we will contact you personally to discuss the impact and timing of the move.

Once complete will be holding an open week and will forward invitations for you to visit the new facility.

The Waterjet Group achieve AS9100 approvals

The Waterjet Group based in Darton and Basildon have been accredited with AS9100 approval status,this aligned with other approvals from Airbus,GKN,Westland Helicopters,BAE Systems solidify our continued development.

Further expansion at The Waterjet Group

Waterjet Technology (a member of TWG) agree a 6000 sq ft expansion to the new Darton facility and option commitment on a further 38,000 sq ft.
